Whop payouts: how and when you get paid

Whop pays sellers from their balance to a connected bank account (via Whop Payments), or directly to PayPal or Coinbase Commerce, with a $10 minimum withdrawal. Withdrawals can be manual or scheduled — instant, daily or weekly depending on the account. Whop documents payouts to 200+ countries in local currency. Standard bank payouts carry no listed fee; next-day ACH is $2.50, instant bank deposit 4% + $1, crypto or Venmo 5% + $1, wire $23.

Timing

  • A sale sits as pending until the card payment settles, then becomes available.
  • Withdraw manually whenever the available balance is above $10, or set an automatic schedule (instant, daily or weekly, subject to account eligibility) with a minimum balance retained to cover refunds and disputes.
  • Bank transfers "may take a couple of days" to arrive, per Whop's documentation.

Verification (KYC)

Before the first withdrawal Whop requires identity documents, bank details and business information. Do this on day one: the single most common seller complaint about Whop is a payout hold that turns out to be incomplete verification. Whop also collects tax forms (W-9/W-8 style) as part of the same flow.

Countries

Whop's setup documentation says it supports payouts to over 200 countries, in local currency, excluding sanctioned or restricted jurisdictions. Its product page for the payouts infrastructure cites 187+ countries and 241+ territories. If you are outside the US, expect the local-bank fee to vary and to be shown in the dashboard rather than on the public fee page.

Holds and reserves

Whop can hold funds during account review — typically after a spike in volume, a cluster of disputes, or in categories it treats as higher risk (trading, betting, "make money"). Holding a reserve for refunds is also required for automatic withdrawals. None of this is unusual for a payments company; it is worth knowing before you plan cash flow around a launch.
