The Whop affiliate program

Whop's affiliate program lets any user earn a commission by sending buyers to a specific product. The seller sets the rate (Whop's default is 30% of the sale), the affiliate shares a link with ?a=username, and Whop pays the commission automatically from the seller's balance; the seller pays 1.25% affiliate processing on those sales. Attribution runs 30 days from the click.

For affiliates

  • Find a product with affiliates enabled, generate your link from its page, and share it.
  • Commission is a percentage of the sale, on renewals too if the seller allows.
  • Payouts land in your Whop balance and follow the normal payout rules ($10 minimum).
  • Disclose the relationship where you post; use rel="sponsored" on websites.

For sellers

  • Enable affiliates on a product and set the rate. 30% default; 10–50% is the observed range across the listings we track.
  • Whop charges 1.25% affiliate processing on affiliate-attributed sales and handles the affiliate's payout.
  • Override rates per affiliate for partners who send volume.

What we have learned running affiliate sites

Across our seven review sites, buyers who arrive through a written review convert at a fraction of the rate of buyers who arrive from the seller's own community. Commissions are real but small per sale; earnings concentrate in a few products with strong retention. Pick products with good verified reviews and a clear deliverable, or your commission is refunded when the buyer disputes.
