What can you sell on Whop?

You can sell access to anything digital on Whop: paid Discord, Telegram or Whop-native communities; courses; alert and signal feeds; downloadable files; software licences and bots; coaching and booked calls; and "content rewards" programs that pay creators per view. Physical goods are possible but not the platform's focus. Sellers set one-off, subscription, trial or payment-plan pricing.

The categories, with what actually sells

Paid communities

Discord, Telegram or Whop-native chat and forums, sold monthly. The largest category: trading alerts, sports picks, reselling, business masterminds.

Courses

Video and text courses hosted in Whop's course app, one-off or bundled with a community. Ecommerce, trading education, sales training, side hustles.

Alert and signal feeds

Real-time posts delivered via chat or Discord. Options, futures, crypto, forex, sports.

Digital downloads

Templates, spreadsheets, ebooks, presets, prompts, sound packs. One-off pricing; the $0.30 fixed fee matters here.

Software and bots

Licence keys, access to a SaaS, Discord bots, monitors, scripts. Subscription or lifetime.

Coaching and calls

Calendar-booked 1:1s, group cohorts, mentorship with a community attached.

Content Rewards / clipping programs

Brands and creators pay clippers per view for short-form clips. Whop hosts the program and pays out.

What not to sell

  • Anything that breaks Whop's seller terms — check them before you list. Gambling advice (picks) is allowed with appropriate disclaimers; running the bet is not.
  • Investment products that require a licence. Trading education and alerts are the norm on Whop; managing money is not.
  • Reselling of other people's content or leaked courses. Fast route to a ban and disputes.

Pricing patterns from live listings

Across the 300+ communities our review network tracks in September 2026: trading alert groups cluster at $50–$150 a month; sports picks at $30–$100 a month with weekly options; reselling groups at $30–$60 a month; ecommerce courses at $200–$1,000 one-off, often with a community; clipping programs pay out rather than charge. Annual plans at 8–10× monthly are the usual retention lever.

What is Whop clipping?

Content Rewards programs: a brand or creator funds a pool and pays clippers a rate per 1,000 views on approved short-form clips. Whop hosts the program, tracks views and pays out. Clipping programs explained.
