Is the Whop marketplace worth listing on?

Whop lets you list your product on whop.com/discover for free. Whop claims 22M+ monthly active users on the marketplace. Is a listing worth anything?

What we observe

• Discovery favours money niches — trading, picks, reselling, ecommerce. A productivity template will not get browsed.
• Verified-purchase reviews on the listing are the strongest conversion asset a seller has, and they only exist if you list.
• Category rankings shift fast; new listings with a few strong reviews can appear near established ones.
• Most sellers we track still get the majority of sales from their own links, not from browse traffic.

Our recommendation

List. It is free, it enables reviews, and it costs nothing when it does not convert. Do not build a business plan around browse traffic. Historically a marketplace commission applied to Discover sales; it is not on the current fee schedule.
